For each of the major developmental stages, Affymetrix GeneChipTM hybridizations were performed. These experiments were done in parallel with the NimbleGen and SAGE experiments. For each developmental stage, the RNA sample used to perform the SAGE, Affymetrix, and NimbleGen experiments were drawn from the same pool.
